Calling all artsy types! 106.1 The Corner wants your help in designing our 2017 Corner T-shirt! We’ve teamed up with High Peak Screen-printing & Embroidery to bring you the 2017 Corner T-Shirt. Starting now through 10am March 9th, go to 1061thecorner dot com to upload and send us your originally designed T-shirt art. Entries can be received via our website, U.S. Mail, or hand delivery to the station.
The WCNR High Peak Screen-printing & Embroidery panel will SELECT AND NOTIFY FIVE FINALISTS by March 9. CORNER LISTENERS WILL VOTE ON THEIR FAVORITE DESIGN beginning March 10th at 10am through midnight on March 19th.
On April 3rd, one winner will be randomly selected and announced from all voting entries to receive a prize package from our participating sponsors, an approximate retail value of $150, as provided by our sponsors.
Four FINALISTS WIN A PRIZE PACK from participating sponsors, with a value of $150, as provided by our sponsors AND THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER SCORES TWO GLAMPING (the Le Bon Souvenir) Passes to Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival June 8 to 11, a value of $1,245, PLUS THIER SHIRT WILL BE WORN BY HUNDREDS AROUND TOWN SHOWING SUPPORT FOR 106.1 THE CORNER CHARLOTTESVILLE’S TRULY ORIGINAL MUSIC OUTLET. The winning design will be announced on April 14th, at the first Fridays After Five. Grand Prize winner will be required to complete a W-9 for tax purposes.
Winner must be at least 18 years old or older and have not won anything on 106.1 The Corner in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of 106.1 The Corner, Charlottesville Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a 100 mile radius of the 106.1 The Corner main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If Cville Radio cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
Cville Radio reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Cville Radio reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.
Employees of Cville Radio, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to Cville Radio the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
Cville Radio reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
